Bio

I am a sociologist, specialist in social and education statistics. I have been a member of the research teams in the Education Area since 2001, associated with projects directed by Guillermina Tiramonti on issues of secondary education, inequality and school formats.

Starting in 2013, together with Daniel Pinkasz, we developed a training proposal on issues of Government and Educational Planning that, in addition to being virtual, was organized, in agreement with the Ministry of Education, in order to offer it in 5 jurisdictions.

Also, starting in 2013 and together with Daniel Pinkasz and Sebastián Fuentes, we developed a Knowledge Base on Secondary Education that had the support of UNICEF, from which we convened specialists and researchers to 5 scientific meetings, some of them which had the support of FONCYT.

I teach at the Master's Degree level in Education in the Methodology seminars and the thesis workshop, work that I do together with Sandra Ziegler and other colleagues. I have done consultancies for the IDB and IIEP UNESCO. I am part of the Editorial committee of the magazine Propuesta Educativa.

I am currently working on a report on Secondary Education in Argentina and on a State of the Art on educational policies for that education level in Latin America.

Lines of research:

Inequality - Secondary education - Educational policies
